DUSTY is a son of the top performance bull Prairielane IDEAL 1418-8116 purchased from the Prarielane Farms program at Souris, MB.  DUSTY has been used for several years in our program on both purebred and commercial cattle.  His progeny are stamped with his natural muscling and ease of fleshing.  His sons have been very well received at our annual bull sale. and we now have several daughters in production and they are the good ones; good footed, good uddered, hard working females that get the job done.  Dusty's EPDs rank him in the top 15% for WW, top 15% for YW, top 25% for Milk and top 15% for Total Maternal.  Dusty has had 82 progeny born to date.  His Avg Wean Index is 103, Avg Feed Index 105, Avg Year Index 103.  His dam was a model Angus cow.  On 8 progeny, she has had an Avg Wean Index of 102, Avg Feet Index of 108 and an Avg Year Index of 104.  Maternal brothers of Dusty have sold to Matt Bunn, Richard Thompson, Dunc Armstrong and Gene Thiry.
